Job summary

Civitech is a public benefit corporation focused on increasing civic participation and supporting Democratic candidates and progressive causes. We are a remote-first team with an office in Austin, TX.

The Senior Product Leader will own the RunningMate business unit, drive revenue growth, shape the 2027 strategy, and align Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Client Success around a unified roadmap. Experience in progressive politics and budget cycles is essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in progressive politics and deep knowledge of the Democratic campaign ecosystem.
• Proven track record scaling a product or business to $5M+ in annualized revenue.
• Strong skills in selling to political organizations and understanding their budgeting and buying cycles.

What You Will Do:

• Manage a cross-functional team of approximately 10 people across Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Client Success.
• Align teams around a cohesive strategy and prioritize the product roadmap based on market needs and customer feedback.
• Build relationships with campaigns, state parties, C3/C4 organizations, and other key stakeholders.

About You:

• 6+ years of experience in progressive politics and deep knowledge of the Democratic campaign ecosystem.
• Proven track record scaling a product or business to $5M+ in annualized revenue.
• Strong skills in selling to political organizations and understanding their budgeting and buying cycles.
