Target is seeking a General Merchandise & Food Sales Executive Team Leader to drive total store sales and lead high-performing teams. The role emphasizes guest-first service, inventory accuracy, pricing discipline and strong people leadership to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

The position requires a 4-year degree or equivalent, comfort with fast-paced retail environments, and the ability to manage workload and schedules including weekends.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of guest service fundamentals and experience building a guest-first culture on your team.
• Knowledge of retail business fundamentals including sales trends, inventory, pricing and promotions.
• Experience in setting monthly/quarterly workloads and leading a team to hit sales goals.
• Knowledge of competition; using insights to drive business objectives.
• Experience managing a team of hourly team members and leaders.
• Recruiting and talent development of hourly staff and leaders.

Responsibilities

• Drive total store sales and contribute to store profitability.
• Manage Food & Beverage, inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, pricing and promotions.
• Lead a team of experts in operations, accuracy and efficiency.
• Oversee pick, pack and ship fulfillment where applicable.
• Plan workload and ensure tasks are guest-ready at all times.
• Conduct regular check-ins to ensure task completion and workload balance.
• Oversee backroom and sales floor areas and address gaps.
• Drive fulfillment to meet guest promises and maintain food safety standards.
• Lead organizational change and adapt to trends in store performance.
• Develop and coach your team to elevate skills and expertise.
