Job summary

HARMAN Automotive in Warren, Michigan seeks a Resident Engineer to drive program development for GM collaborations. You will coordinate cross-functional priorities, provide CAD data, and present technical solutions to GM teams, ensuring timely issue resolution and design integrity.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in engineering, CAD tools experience (CATIA/SolidWorks/NX), and familiarity with Teamcenter VIS Mockup.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering.
Experience with CAD applications (CATIA/SolidWorks/NX).
Experience with Teamcenter VIS Mockup or comparable tools.
Ability to manage customer program milestones across engineering, keeping priorities clear.

Responsibilities

Work within GM's Team Center database to provide data and CAD to HARMAN's engineering team.
Create and present technical presentations with dimensions, cross-sections, and design proposals to GM.
Run weekly PDT meetings and record open issues and resolutions.
Support CIT meetings and present issues/resolutions weekly.
Attend VPIT meetings and explain design perspectives to GM stakeholders.
Create change requests inside GM systems to document and track designs.
