Job summary

Asana is seeking a General Manager to own strategy, product direction and operating model for Command, Asana’s product for software development teams. You will lead cross‑functional groups across Product, Engineering, Design, Data Science, Marketing, Sales and CS to turn technical work into a scalable enterprise business.

Based in San Francisco with an office‑centric hybrid schedule, you will define market strategy, drive product quality and establish Command as a pillar in Asana’s human‑agent

Qualifications

• GM or product executive with clear ownership of a product line or business.
• Experience with software development workflows and engineering operations.
• Experience delivering products to enterprise buyers.
• Experience applying AI to real customer workflows.
• Proven track record of end-to-end accountability for strategy and execution of a technical product area.

Responsibilities

• Develop and communicate a clear strategy and roadmap for Command within Asana’s product portfolio.
• Own the business plan and operational metrics, including adoption, retention, engagement, and commercial expansion.
• Build, lead, and scale a customer‑centric cross‑functional organization spanning product, engineering, go‑to‑market, and research functions.
• Drive overall product quality, performance, and developer trust with Engineering and Design.
• Define how AI Teammates and the Enterprise Work Graph create differentiated workflows for technical teams.
• Establish clear go‑to‑market positioning, packaging, and enterprise proof points to drive repeatable customer demand.
