Job summary

Hudson Automotive Group in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a GM Certified Technician to join our high-volume service team. Top pay ranges from $65k to $120k annually, with production bonuses and a yearly retention bonus. A sign-on bonus is offered for highly qualified technicians, plus paid vacation and PTO from day one.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years automotive technician experience required.
• Manufacturer experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Technicians perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with quality and dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C.
• Communicate with Service Advisor about additional repairs and provide time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications with parts department coordination.
