About the General Merchandise Role

Our experts focus on operations, process, and efficiency to ensure a seamless guest experience by maintaining product presentation, stock levels, pricing, and signage. The team manages inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, and promotional activities, including Food & Beverage and Food Service, ensuring safety and freshness. They also support fulfillment processes like pick, pack, and ship.

• Understanding retail fundamentals such as sales trends, inventory management, and process improvements
• Ability to execute daily tasks supporting business priorities and sales goals

Typical Responsibilities

• Greeting guests and understanding their needs
• Assisting guests using body language and verbal cues
• Engaging genuinely and asking questions to better serve guests
• Knowing store tools, products, and services to resolve issues and enhance experiences
• Ensuring sales floor zones are stocked, signed, and priced correctly
• Prioritizing workload with leadership support to meet business and guest needs
• Setting up signage and executing inbound, replenishment, and signing processes
• Maintaining inventory accuracy, pricing, and presentation standards
• Operating power equipment if certified and following safety protocols
• Supporting guest services, including cashiering and digital fulfillment, while complying with legal requirements
• Performing other duties as needed based on business needs
