Job summary

Inland Deicing Services, LLC is seeking a Recovery Equipment Operator IAD to support glycol recovery and processing operations at an on-site location. You will operate and maintain glycol recovery equipment while ensuring safety, environmental compliance, and efficient performance.

The role emphasizes teamwork, basic math, and instrument reading; training is provided, with opportunities for advancement and mentorship within the Inland Group.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of classroom and on-the-job training programs.
• Basic computer proficiency and software familiarity.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions and manuals.
• Strong math skills and mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate glycol recovery and processing equipment per procedures and safety standards.
• Collect spent aircraft de-icing fluid with minimal loss or environmental release.
• Monitor, inspect, test, and maintain glycol processing and recycling systems.
• Perform product quality assurance, sampling, testing, and documentation per SOPs.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and repairs; replace components and install parts as directed.
• Conduct truck transfer operations, load/unload tankers, and transfer fluids between tanks.
• Support glycol recovery activities and keep equipment clean, safe, and operational.
• Collaborate with airport authorities, contractors, and team members; follow security procedures.
• Drive company vehicle off airport property to pick up parts and supplies.
