Job summary

Cognizance Technologies, LLC is seeking a Researcher II - Glycotechnology Research Scientist in Silver Spring, MD. The role focuses on glyco-technology to quantify glycoforms of therapeutic proteins and to synthesize glycan standards for PAT-related analyses.

You will work on developing high-throughput analytical methods, characterizing glycans on IgG and other glycoproteins, and contributing to manuscripts and reports while maintaining lab safety and regulatory credentials.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Glycobiology, Glycochemistry or related field.
• Experience developing analytical methods for glycosylation of glycoproteins.
• Ability to independently lead R&D projects and generate reports.

Responsibilities

• Characterize glycoforms of therapeutic proteins using advanced analytics.
• Develop and validate BLI methods for glycoform quantification.
• Culture CHO/HEK293 cells and purify recombinant proteins.
• Analyze glycoproteins by MS techniques and establish glycans as standards.
• Draft manuscripts and internal technical reports; present progress regularly.
