Job summary

GlycoData is seeking a Senior Associate Scientist (Contract) in San Carlos, California, to join the Polysaccharide team. This role involves analytical testing and method development for polysaccharide drug candidates, requiring strong skills in HPLC and data analysis.

The ideal candidate will have a background in Chemistry/Biochemistry along with relevant hands-on experience in lab settings. You will collaborate closely with scientists and ensure high-quality data generation.

Qualifications

• MSc in Chemistry/Biochemistry, or related with minimum 3 years experience, or BSc with 5 years experience.
• Hands-on experience with HPLC and carbohydrate analysis.
• Experience with LC-MS/MS and Empower is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing and characterization of polysaccharides.
• Develop and optimize analytical methods.
• Analyze experimental data and prepare technical summaries.
