Job summary

Cognizance Technologies, LLC in Silver Spring, MD seeks a Researcher I (Insulin Bioassay Research) to support development, validation, and implementation of cell-based potency bioassays for biosimilars and complex generics.

The role requires an advanced degree and demonstrated ability to lead research projects, perform data analysis, and prepare technical reports and manuscripts, with adherence to FDA-related security and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. degree in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Bioengineering, or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to independently conduct and lead research projects.
• Experience developing bioassays for biotechnology products and peptides.

Responsibilities

• Bioassay Development and Execution: Perform cell-based assays and document results in databases.
• Characterization and Analytical Support: RNA/protein analyses and data processing.
• Laboratory Operations: Inventory upkeep, training, and credential maintenance.
• Reporting and Communication: Prepare reports and presentations; participate in meetings.
• Data management and program support: Compile and analyze data; write manuscripts.
