Job summary

Kronospan, the world’s leading producer of wood panel products, seeks a Gluing Technician to manage chemical usage in the Particle Board line and support the gluing process. You will handle chemical storage, deliveries, and preventive maintenance in the gluing area to safeguard continuous production.

Responsibilities include forecasting chemical needs with the PB production team, assisting operators, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring safe, efficient operations on the production line.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or Technical Process OR equivalent experience.
• 2 years of experience in a wood panel production industry.
• Background in process and product development.
• Strong ability to communicate and interact at all levels of the organization.
• Good organizational skills and time management.

Job Description

Manage the Particle Board chemical usage. The area of responsibility includes the complete handling of process chemicals and production related equipment to ensure optimal operating conditions. The position also performs preventive maintenance in the gluing area and handles chemical storage and deliveries, including unloading and deliveries. The Gluing Technician is responsible for forecasting chemical needs in close cooperation with the PB production team and for providing technical support to the gluing process. Further duties may include assisting operation personnel, when requested, in the troubleshooting, repair, or preventive maintenance of equipment in the area of responsibility in order to support continuous operations on the production line.
