Job summary

Sabert is seeking a Gluer Technician to evaluate and improve manufacturing processes around gluing equipment. You will lead technicians, drive process improvements, and ensure output quality.

The role emphasizes safety, learning, and operational excellence in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong root-cause analysis skills, hands-on mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work flexible shifts, including overnights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience with Root Cause Failure Analysis strategies and delivering results in safety, productivity, efficiency, waste and quality.
• Strong mechanical aptitude including tooling, electrical motors, gear boxes, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating/instructions, quality procedures and production data logs; communicate issues clearly.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing processes and develop improved working practices.
• Investigate and resolve equipment issues to ensure optimal output.
• Monitor daily production output for improvement opportunities.
• Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement with focus on safety and quality.
• Support operators and ensure staff are skilled with tools and techniques for quality production.
• Collaborate on SOPs and reengineering initiatives; manage continuous improvement projects.
