The Gluer Technician is responsible for evaluating, recommending, and improving operational processes associated with manufacturing programs, including those of the Gluing equipment. This role manages equipment operators and leads process improvement efforts ensuring optimal equipment effectiveness by eliminating process variability and increasing quality and output. Ideal candidate possesses a growth mindset, innate curiosity, and commitment to continual learning impacting operational effectiveness.
This position requires continuous use of hands and fingers for handling and positioning items, as well as arms for reaching. The role also involves frequent bending and movement throughout the work area, with occasional periods of remaining stationary, climbing stairs, pushing and pulling objects, and communicating as needed. Employees may occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, and color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
