Job summary

The University at Buffalo is seeking a Program Manager, GLRC STREAM to coordinate the Great Lakes Research Consortium's initiatives, liaising with stakeholders, organizing events, and administering grants. You will oversee a statewide research internship program and develop annual work plans to support environmental research on Great Lakes ecosystems.

Preferred: post-baccalaureate degree and 5+ years of related experience.
Experience with NYS research institutes and project management software.
Travel within the consortium's campuses required.
Ability to liaise with DEC program managers and stakeholders.
Organize annual conferences, workshops, and oversee internships.

Responsibilities

Liaise with DEC program managers and NYS public sector stakeholders.
Organize and oversee conferences and workshops, including logistics and agenda development.
Administer GLRC small grants program: proposals, reviews, awards, progress tracking.
Oversee NYS-wide research internship program across 18 universities.
Manage and disseminate GLRC STREAM content from seminars, symposia, and conferences.
Prepare annual work plans and serve as liaison between researchers and EarthEd.
