Qualifications

• BA/BS in biological sciences or related science degree; substitutions allowed with related lab experience and admin skills.
• 2+ years working in a vivarium setting.
• 1+ year staff training experience.
• 3+ years in a research or regulated environment preferred.
• Professional certification in area of expertise preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement SOPs and qualification requirements ensuring compliance with FDA GLP and other regulations.
• Coordinate with trainers and management to schedule training and cross training.
• Provide hands-on training of staff and assess competency.
• Respond to QA audits for training processes and corrective actions.
• Monitor and communicate training deadlines and maintain documentation.
• Support and participate in study procedures as workload requires.
