Job summary

Global Kids is seeking a Site Director - High School to lead youth development programming at the High School for Global Citizenship in Brooklyn, NY. The role oversees core components of after-school and out-of-school-time programming, linking school-day learning with extended-day activities and field experiences.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in youth programs, familiarity with DOE policies, and strong leadership skills for diverse, multi-stakeholder settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3 years of professional experience.
• Experience managing government-funded programs (DYCD, COMPASS High, 21st CCLC).
• Familiarity with Department of Education policies and protocols.
• Experience supervising personnel and managing teams (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Program design and implementation for after-school and outreach.
• Oversee attendance, data entry, and compliance with grant guidelines.
• Build partnerships with school staff, families, and community partners.
• Supervise staff and conduct performance evaluations and timesheets.
