Job summary

Global Kids seeks a site director to oversee youth development programming at a New York City middle school site. You will manage social-emotional wellness, college/career prep, academic enrichment, and service-learning components to foster global awareness and youth leadership.

The role is fully in-person, requiring hands-on supervision of staff, partnerships with school personnel, and ongoing program design, data management, and compliance with DOH and DYCD requirements.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree and several years of relevant program management experience.
• Experience supervising personnel and managing teams.
• Experience with NYC public schools and after-school programs.
• Knowledge of DYCD SONYC programs or school-based after-school programs.
• Commitment to culturally diverse settings and antiracist pedagogy.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement yearly curriculum maps aligned with GK outcomes and program model.
• Coordinate and write interactive workshops for weekly after-school programs.
• Lead or co-facilitate activities for middle school students.
