Job summary

VTEX seeks a VP of Solution Architecture to lead its global SA organization and transform the function from project delivery to scalable onboarding across North America, Brazil, Latin America, and Europe.

Reporting to the CRO, you will drive strategy, performance, and AI-enabled transformation, building a high-performing team and trusted executive relationships with CEOs and CIOs to accelerate Time to Revenue.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience across Solution Architecture, Professional Services, Enterprise Architecture, or similar.
• Significant leadership experience across multiple regions and senior leaders, ideally in senior roles such as Director or VP.
• Proven track record in organizational transformation and scalable operating models.
• Deep experience with complex enterprise implementations, APIs, cloud platforms, and modern technology ecosystems.
• Experience using AI to transform technical organizations and accelerate outcomes.
• Experience across international markets (US, Europe, Latin America).
• Strong executive presence and ability to handle high-stakes conversations with C-suite.
• Strong people leadership, developing leaders and teams.
• Experience with systems integrators and influencing external delivery ecosystems.
• Customer-obsessed, commercially minded, and able to move between strategy and hands-on execution.
• Fluent in English and comfortable in a global environment; willingness to travel internationally.
• Experience with enterprise commerce or B2B/B2C digital commerce ecosystems.
• Knowledge of composable commerce, MACH architecture, and AI-enabled commerce tech.
• Exposure to VTEX platform.
• Experience in high-growth or fast-changing technology companies.
• Entrepreneurial background or founder experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the global strategy for Solution Architecture, transforming the function to support implementation and onboarding outcomes across the full customer portfolio.
• Own implementation performance, including implementation time, quality of delivery, backlog loss, and their impact on Time to Revenue.
• Use AI as a core lever to redesign processes, knowledge-sharing, tooling, and ways of working across the organization.
• Build mechanisms, standards, and capabilities that enable customers and systems integrators to implement successfully at scale.
• Lead and develop regional SA leaders and Individual Contributors, and build a high-performing, collaborative global organization that consistently raises its technical and execution standards.
• Establish scalable playbooks, architecture standards, operating mechanisms, and best practices that improve consistency and quality across complex commerce implementations.
• Serve as a senior executive escalation point for critical implementations, navigating difficult customer situations and high-stakes conversations with senior stakeholders.
• Build trusted relationships with CEOs, CIOs, CTOs, Enterprise Architects, and other senior customer leaders, representing VTEX with credibility in both strategic and deeply technical discussions.
• Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Sales, and other functions to improve the end-to-end onboarding experience and customer outcomes.
