Job summary

Balsam Brands is seeking a VP of Technology to lead engineering across Digital and Enterprise teams, guiding AI-enabled SDLC and translating business priorities into a clear engineering strategy with measurable results.

You will develop leaders, align investments with product leaders, and own architecture decisions for scalable, reliable systems across omnichannel retail in a hybrid working model (in-office Mon–Wed).

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering leadership across distributed teams.
• Experience shaping engineering strategy and organizational design.
• Demonstrated AI literacy and hands-on AI use in engineering work.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Define multi-year engineering strategy and investment roadmap.
• Lead Digital and Enterprise Directors and develop leadership bench.
• Own AI-enabled SDLC evolution and adoption.
• Set architectural direction across digital commerce and enterprise systems.
• Align engineering priorities with product and business leaders.
• Oversee budgeting and vendor management.
