Eaton is seeking a VP of Engineering reporting to the Global Data Center Group President. This senior role provides overall technical leadership across data center product lines, driving strategy, validation, and execution.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of professional engineering experience.
• 7+ years of direct people leadership.
• Experience in a highly matrix global organization.
• Significant experience in electrical components/systems design and new product development.
• Ability to travel 25% (international and domestic).

Responsibilities

• Partner with Senior Leadership to set goals and objectives.
• Establish a technology roadmap across data center product lines.
• Translate customer needs into clear product requirements and validation criteria.
• Develop end-to-end validation for data center solutions (hardware, software, services).
• Align with product management on prioritization and resource allocation.
• Implement governance to track customer-driven requirements through delivery.
• Develop execution models with program management and lean reviews.
• Drive IP development and manage regulatory compliance.
• Mentor leadership and develop talent pipelines.
