Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of progressive audit, finance, and/or operational experience.
• At least 10 years leading internal audit or public accounting teams at large, complex organizations.
• Deep knowledge of IIA Standards, COSO framework, SOX 404 requirements, and PCAOB audit standards.
• Proven track record of developing and executing global, risk-based audit plans across financial, operational, IT, and compliance domains.
• Strong business acumen to address evolving risk landscape and strategic priorities.
• Exceptional executive presence and communication skills with Board and leadership.
• Experience building and developing high-performing audit teams.
• Familiarity with IT audit, cybersecurity risk, and data analytics methodologies.
• Experience in medical device or healthcare tech industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain independence and report to the Audit Committee.
• Develop and champion a long-range strategic vision for Internal Audit.
• Present risk assessments, audit plans, and performance metrics to the Audit Committee.
• Advise CFO/CEO on governance, risk, and controls including due diligence and strategic initiatives.
• Lead ERM programs and provide independent risk perspectives.
• Oversee end-to-end execution of the audit plan across domains.
• Ensure conformance with IIA Standards and QAIP.
• Manage SOX 404 program with external auditors to optimize testing.
• Oversee third-party co-sourcing and outsourcing relationships.
• Ensure timely remediation of audit findings and management actions.
• Build relationships with executive management, regulators, and auditors.
• Lead talent development and succession planning within the function.
