Job summary

Vital Voices Global Partnership seeks a strategic Vice President, Communications & Engagement to lead global communications, public relations, and events for the organization. This senior role reports to the Chief External Relations Officer and shapes narratives, elevates the brand, and strengthens donor and partner relationships.

The position requires a track record in executive communications, media strategy, and enterprise storytelling, with strong leadership and crisis management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
• 12+ years of progressive experience in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism, or related field
• Experience leading public relations strategies and media relations
• Excellent writing and storytelling skills across multiple formats
• Experience overseeing integrated comms and events across digital, media, social channels

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute an integrated global communications and public relations strategy
• Advise executive leadership on messaging and external positioning
• Lead media relations, press outreach, and crisis communications
• Oversee content strategy across website, social media, newsletters, and multimedia
• Direct events strategy and ensure donor engagement and stakeholder outreach
