Job summary

Gartner, Inc. is seeking a Managing Vice President of Cloud Engineering & Operations to shape Gartner’s global cloud strategy across AWS, Azure, GCP, and private/on‑prem environments.

You will lead 24x7 operations, implement secure CI/CD with IaC, and optimize cloud spend through FinOps while partnering with Cybersecurity and Compliance teams to protect data and meet regulatory needs. A strong, globally distributed cloud leadership background is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT infrastructure/cloud engineering experience in large, global enterprises.
• Deep technical expertise in multi-cloud and hybrid infrastructure with hands-on cloud platform experience.
• Strong DevOps and automation skills, IaC and CI/CD for cloud deployments.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive Gartner’s cloud strategy across public and private environments.
• Oversee 24x7 cloud operations, ensure high availability and performance.
• Lead FinOps to optimize cloud spend and governance.
• Ensure security/compliance; collaborate with Cybersecurity and Compliance teams.
• Lead a global cloud engineering/operations team and collaborate across IT and business units.
