Micron Technology, Inc. in San Jose is hiring an Assistant General Counsel for Ventures & M&A to lead venture investments and M&A transactions, coordinating with the Corporate Development Team and global teams.

The role involves substantial negotiations, deal structuring, and regulatory compliance across the US and EU. You will partner with experts in privacy, IP, tax, security, and finance to shape strategy, optimize templates, and manage spend while guiding internal clients through complex

Competenze

• Eight+ years of related experience at a law firm or in a corporate law department.
• “First-chair” experience leading venture capital, M&A, and other significant transactions.
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
• Ability to explain legal concepts to non-lawyers and provide pragmatic advice.
• Strong communications skills, both written and verbal.

Mansioni

• Manage venture capital investments from start to finish, including term sheets, due diligence, and exits.
• Prepare and negotiate contracts for mergers and acquisitions and related documents.
• Deliver legal support across all deal phases in US and EU regions.
• Direct and manage outside counsel and control legal spend.
• Collaborate with data privacy, IP, regulatory, tax, finance, and other teams to align transactions with policy.
