Google LLC's YouTube Trust and Safety team seeks a Policy Lead to develop global content policies and drive cross-functional projects at scale. You will translate emerging abuse signals into durable policy frameworks and guide collaboration with engineering, product, and operations to protect creators and viewers.

You will review content in line with community guidelines, manage policy lifecycles, and communicate strategy to executives worldwide.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in a policy, legal, Trust and Safety, or technology environment.
• Experience with the development, implementation, and maintenance of policy.

Responsabilités

• Develop, maintain, and update our global policies in various areas of online content.
• Influence cross-functional stakeholders and company executives regarding proposed content policy efforts.
• Build and strengthen partnerships with partners across cross-functional groups including public policy, PR, legal, product, engineering, and sales. Understand and clearly communicate the challenges and needs presented by the latest trends globally.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Operations to translate bad-actor behaviors into durable policy frameworks.
