Job summary

EIC (Experience Internship Canada) in Boston or NYC invites motivated students to join its International Treasury team as an Intern – Multi-Currency Management & FX.

You will monitor cash flows for international activities, examine currency needs and conversion costs, and support forecasts and FX analysis.

This paid internship offers supervisor mentorship, practical assignments and possible longer‑term opportunities with global exposure.

Qualifications

• You are studying finance, treasury, economics or international business.
• You understand cash flows and the basics of exchange rates and currency risk.
• You are comfortable with Excel and handling financial data.
• You work accurately and respect review and approval procedures.
• You are comfortable communicating in English; French is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Cash positions: update balances and transactions across different currencies.
• Forecasting: prepare cash forecasts by currency using expected receipts and payments.
• Reconciliation: check transaction consistency and document discrepancies.
• FX analysis: track exchange rate movements and measure exposures.
• Costs: compare transfer and conversion charges to inform decisions.
• Scenarios: simulate the impact of exchange rate changes on budgets and cash flows.
• Payments: prepare information and checks for internal approvals.
• Reporting: produce summaries and document multi-currency monitoring procedures.
