Job summary

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) seeks a seasoned Travel and Transportation professional to lead the Transportation Section within the General Services Division at IMF headquarters in Washington, DC. The role directs travel programs, vendor management, data analytics, and staff development to ensure cost-effective, client-focused service delivery.

Qualifications

Advanced university degree in business administration, transportation management, travel management, logistics, or related field.
Minimum of eight years of relevant professional experience; or bachelor’s degree with fourteen years of experience.
Proven experience leading travel, transportation, or related services for a large, complex or global organization.

Responsibilities

Set strategic direction for the Transportation Section and mentor staff.
Oversee IMF travel program, transportation portfolio, and service delivery.
Manage vendor relationships, SLAs, and procurement processes.
Develop metrics, dashboards, and reports to support management oversight.
Engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure duty of care and rapid operational response.
