Job summary

IPG Photonics Corporation is seeking a Global Travel Manager in Marlborough, MA to create and educate travelers on global travel policies, drive Concur implementations, and optimize relationships with travel vendors. The role reports to the VP Treasurer and interfaces with executive leadership across finance, sales, and operations.

The ideal candidate will have deep industry expertise, strong leadership, and a proven track record of delivering traveler-centric, cost-effective travel solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, hospitality or related discipline and 10 years of experience in a complex multinational environment.

Responsibilities

• Create, implement, and maintain the global travel policy aligned with company goals and local regulations.
• Lead the global implementation and optimization of Concur and a global travel management company.
• Negotiate and manage relationships with travel agencies, airlines, hotels, car rental companies, and other vendors.
• Develop and track KPIs for travel management and supplier performance and cost optimization; develop a supplier scorecard.
• Leverage data analytics to track travel spend, identify trends, and provide regular reports to leadership.
