Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business or a related field.
• Minimum 8-10 years of progressive experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, operations or related functions.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex global transformation, process deployment or operating-model initiatives across multiple functions and regions.
• Strong understanding of transportation operations and experience with 3PL/4PL or transportation service-provider operating models.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into scalable processes, governance and operational capabilities.
• Proven ability to lead through influence in a highly matrixed global organization and align senior internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong judgment and ability to challenge, elevate and make evidence-based decisions where operational readiness or business continuity is at risk.

Responsibilities

• Global Process Ownership & Governance: Own and evolve assigned global transportation processes, standards and operating models. Establish governance, decision rights, controls and performance expectations; identify process gaps and translate business needs into sustainable global solutions; and govern exceptions through clear business rationale, risk assessment and appropriate approval.
• Transformation & Capability Deployment: Lead the operational integration and deployment of major global transportation transformation initiatives, including the Global Transportation Control Tower and future capabilities. Integrate business process, technology, data, change management, site readiness and external-provider activities; confirm operational readiness; resolve and elevate risks to readiness, resources, scope, cost or business continuity; and transition new capabilities into sustainable base-business ownership and governance.
• Strategic Supplier & Ecosystem Integration: Partner with 3PL/4PL, technology and transportation providers to integrate external capabilities into global processes and operating models. Support strategic supplier governance, performance improvement and capability development; translate business requirements into clear partner expectations; resolve systemic gaps; and simplify interfaces, strengthen accountability and improve value across the transportation partner ecosystem.
• Continuous Improvement & Future Transformation: support continuous improvement using performance insights, operational feedback and structured problem‑solving. Assess emerging business needs and required changes to processes, capabilities, technology and operating models; serve as a transportation subject matter expert for future enterprise and supply‑chain transformation programs; and build reusable standards and methodologies that avoid program‑specific operating structures.
• Cross‑Functional Leadership: Lead a small team of transportation process and deployment subject matter experts and coordinate matrix resources across Transportation, Technology, Data, Procurement, regional teams, sites and external partners. Align senior stakeholders, drive timely decisions, provide visibility of priorities, risks, dependencies and actions, develop organizational capability, and transfer knowledge from transformation programs into the base business.
