Job summary

Techner Ltd. seeks experienced Verizon Transport Engineers with a strong background in transport networks, routing, and integration support. This role requires coordination with U.S.-based delivery teams, supporting daily operations, network deployments, and transport activities across large Verizon projects.

Prior Verizon experience is a key requirement. Key responsibilities include coordinating daily scheduling with PMs and field teams, assisting in cutovers, and configuring site equipment

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with Verizon transport networks and cross-team coordination.
• Hands-on with Nokia routers, including configuration, troubleshooting and upgrades.
• Knowledge of HUB/CRAN architectures, macro and small cell deployments.
• Understanding of fronthaul/backhaul, CPRI/eCPRI and IP backhaul concepts.
• Experience with VPLS, dark fiber mappings and carrier aggregation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Project Managers and field teams to manage daily scheduling and execution.
• Collaborate with U.S. delivery teams to align priorities and ensure timely project delivery.
• Track progress, document activities, and ensure project milestones are met.
• Support router configuration, troubleshooting, and software upgrade/rollback activities.
• Assist in cutover planning, execution, traffic migration, and validation processes.
• Work on transport network deployments including HUB and CRAN hub environments.
• Configure and support site equipment across macro, centralized RAN, and small cell deployments.
• Handle fronthaul and backhaul configurations including dark fiber mappings.
• Support carrier aggregation configurations on router-switched data planes (VPLS).
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders and provide regular status updates.
