Hitachi Energy in Västerås is seeking a Transport and Logistics Planner to manage shipments worldwide, ensuring on-time deliveries with correct documentation and close collaboration with internal teams, suppliers and freight forwarders.

You will plan, book, and monitor shipments, handle packing and shipping documents, support continuous improvement, and operate in a fast-paced global environment with a strong cross-functional focus.

Formación

• Experience or education in transport/logistics/shipping.
• Basic knowledge of logistics compliance (import/export docs).
• Strong communication and networking skills with analytical capacity.
• Good administration skills and ability to handle high workload.
• Interest in continuous improvement and process optimization.
• Fluency in English, written and verbal.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure on‑time delivery of goods from packing to site delivery, planning, booking and monitoring.
• Fulfill packing, marking and shipping procedures and create documents per project requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, suppliers, forwarders and customers for smooth shipping.
• Ensure project timelines and transportation budgets are met.
• Represent Logistics in project teams and keep processes/regulations up to date.
• Establish best practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
