Job summary

ByteDance is seeking a Transfer Pricing Senior Manager to lead TP matters in the Americas, with a primary focus on the US. The role involves planning, policy setting, compliance, and controversy support, guiding TP strategy across a multinational framework.

You will collaborate with finance teams and external consultants to ensure robust TP documentation and timely responses to TP inquiries, while monitoring evolving TP regulations affecting the company’s Los Angeles operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of transfer pricing experience (including at least 2 years as a senior manager or equivalent).
• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or equivalent related field.

Responsibilities

• Build business partnerships by liaising with finance teams to provide ad-hoc solutions.
• Lead internal transfer pricing risk assessment.
• Lead functional and financial analyses to validate existing TP policies or propose new ones.
• Lead implementation of transfer pricing processes, controls, and monitoring.
• Implement, monitor, and maintain operational TP processes with improvements.
• Lead TP-related tax audits and strategy development, including responses to authorities.
• Conduct periodic transfer pricing calculations.
• Collaborate with external consultants to prepare TP documentation and compliance documents.
• Respond to TP inquiries and assist partners with TP issues promptly.
• Monitor proposed and enacted TP legislation affecting operations.
