Job summary

Milliman seeks a Software Developer for the Trading Technology Department to build and support trading, risk, and back-office systems used globally. You will contribute to both client- and server-side development, databases, and intranet web apps.

You will work with traders and teammates, maintaining systems with independence and clear communication, across the full software lifecycle and disparate teams.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent degree.
• Proficiency in C# and/or C/C++ and knowledge of SDLC.
• Familiarity with implementing web APIs (REST/HTTP) and authentication.
• Experience with relational database design and efficient queries.

• Create, maintain, and enhance systems to support our growing business, including client/server, database, and intranet-based web apps.
• Operate with independence and take on responsibilities as able.
• Communicate clearly with traders and other technical and non-technical team members.
