Job summary
Tradeweb is seeking a senior C++ software engineer to join our fixed income trading platform team. This fully remote role, anchored at our Jersey City hub, focuses on developing trading ticket functionality, implementing dealer negotiation workflows, and strengthening post‑trade processing for supported products.
You will collaborate with Trading Systems, Dealer Software, FIX Connectivity, and Front‑End teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years of professional C++ development (C++14/20) on Windows/Linux.
- Strong object‑oriented design, STL, multithreading, and concurrency.
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking and low-latency systems.
- Experience with distributed, high‑throughput trading platforms.
- Proactive, collaborative mindset with strong communication.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance electronic trading platform capabilities for new asset classes.
- Design and implement trading workflows with dealers to optimize outcomes.
- Build robust post‑trade processing for supported products.
- Collaborate with Trading Systems, Dealer Software, FIX, and Front‑End teams.
- Analyze and resolve data presentation ambiguities to ensure accuracy.
- Improve performance through optimization, debugging, and scaling.
