Job summary

BakerHostetler seeks a Trademark associate to join its nationally recognized Intellectual Property practice group. The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of trademark experience, including global brand protection, counseling, prosecution, clearance, licensing, and enforcement, including cease and desist letters, takedown procedures, TTAB actions, foreign oppositions, UDRP disputes, and federal litigation.

The candidate should manage complex U.S. and global portfolios.

Qualifications

• Excellent academic credentials, including a J.D. from a nationally recognized and accredited law school
• Strong research, writing, and oral skills
• The ability to manage a fast-paced, global and complex workload and docket while maintaining priorities and anticipating issues
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
• The professional commitment and interpersonal skills necessary to interact with clients and succeed in a collaborative team environment
• Must be admitted to practice law in the state where the candidate will reside
