Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking an Associate Director, Global Trade – DT/GT & AECS to lead the integration of Global Trade into the digital enterprise and to shape automation across a complex, highly regulated global organization.

The role reports to the Director, Global Trade and will advise across Digital Technology, business units and senior executives. It requires navigating regulatory requirements, defining tech specs, and driving governance and scalable controls with up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree with 10+ years in Global Trade or related roles.
• Experience with export control and sanctions regulations.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into technology specs.
• Excellent communication with senior leaders and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration of Global Trade into the digital enterprise across strategies and technology.
• Serve as a senior Global Trade advisor for Digital Technology and transformation initiatives.
• Translate GT requirements into clear business and tech requirements for teams.
• Assess initiatives for GT alignment, risks, and business value with recommendations.
• Evolve AECS value stream and advance automation, ABAC, and scalable controls.
• Establish governance for GT in technology projects and architecture.
• Strengthen GT control environment across digital tools and processes.
• Influence enterprise GT initiatives and communicate risks to leadership.
• Provide strategic leadership and relationship-building across functions.
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery of GT compliance via technology.
• Travel approximately 10% of the time.
