Job summary

Boart Longyear is seeking a Global Trade Compliance Manager to lead the design and execution of a worldwide tariff management and compliance program. You will collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, Product Management, Finance, and Legal to anticipate tariff exposure and drive compliant mitigation strategies across North America, Europe, Africa and Asia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Administration, Law, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in global trade compliance, customs, tariff management, or import/export operations.
• Experience supporting multinational manufacturing or engineered-product organizations; English proficiency and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead global tariff management and mitigation program across regions.
• Develop and maintain global governance for HS/HTS classification and related policies.
• Coordinate cross-regional tariff matters involving sourcing, manufacturing, and distribution.
• Provide leadership for customs requirements, import/export obligations, and regulatory reporting.
• Build regional tariff management capabilities and provide training to regional teams.
