Job summary

Boart Longyear seeks a Global Trade Compliance Manager to lead the worldwide trade compliance, tariff management, and duty optimization program. You will shape global standards, oversee classification governance, and coordinate mitigation strategies with regional teams to reduce tariff exposure.

The role partners with Legal, Finance, Procurement, and Engineering to align regulatory changes with business strategy and supply chain decisions across regions. Travel is limited to <10%.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) credential required.
• Demonstrated experience supporting multinational manufacturing, industrial, mining, or engineered-product organizations.
• Strong analytical judgment and risk-based decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Lead the global tariff management and mitigation program with governance and tools across regions.
• Establish global standards for HTS/HS classification and country-of-origin determinations.
• Coordinate tariff exposure assessment and mitigation planning with regional teams.
• Develop and maintain training, playbooks, and dashboards for tariff management.
• Drive regional capability development and governance across logistics and trade compliance.
