Job summary

Tradewin, a leading international trade compliance consulting firm, seeks a Customs Reconciliation and Post Entry Specialist in Portland, OR. You will build client relationships, prepare regulatory filings, and analyze ACE data to support reconciliation and post-entry tasks.

This full-time role requires strong written and verbal communication, Excel/Access data handling, and the ability to work under tight deadlines. Training on Tradewin processes is provided.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to research complex regulatory subjects independently.
• Strong writing skills.
• Some college level Finance, Accounting, or Mathematics preferred.
• Ability to meet demanding deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications.
• Comfort with reviewing, manipulating, and auditing data in Excel or Access.
• Flexible and able to adapt to rapidly changing workloads.
• Superior planning and organizational skills; multi-tasking ability.
• Experience with Trade Compliance, Customs Brokerage, Post Entry submission or Reconciliation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with clients through proactive email and verbal communications.
• Research, compile and prepare regulatory documents for US CBP to support Reconciliation and Post Entry filings using Excel, Word, Acrobat.
• Use ACE data, including working directly in ACE to run, create, or review reports for clients.
• Attend required training sessions to learn regulatory changes and Tradewin processes.
• Prepare Post Entry submissions including Post Summary Corrections, Protests, Prior Disclosures, Reconciliations as assigned.
• Independently research, analyze, and interpret complex procedures or regulations and write technical correspondence and documents.
• Conduct spreadsheet analysis to validate duty and fees calculations.
• Collaborate with team to enhance client experience and suggest efficiencies.
