Job summary

Wolverine Worldwide, Inc. is seeking a Global Trade Manager to lead the company’s trade compliance program globally. The role directs a team of specialists, ensures regulatory compliance, and supports strategy across regions to enable efficient international growth.

Ideal candidates bring extensive experience in global trade, risk management, and cross-functional leadership, with a strong focus on aligning regulatory requirements with business objectives.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Global Trade, Customs Compliance, International Logistics, or related disciplines.
• 2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Preferred certifications in trade compliance (e.g., LCB, CCS, CES) or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of international trade regulations and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Direct and optimize global import/export operations, including customs classification, valuation, country of origin, and broker management.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Legal, Finance, and commercial teams to support growth and compliance objectives.
• Oversee compliance with international trade regulations, sanctions, and free trade agreement requirements.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate trade compliance risks across global operations.
• Drive process improvements and advocate for trade management system enhancements.
