Zoetis in Kalamazoo is seeking a senior leader to build and scale a global Precision Animal Health logistics program. You will design world-class networks for compliant, reliable, and timely movement of samples and supplies worldwide, shaping how logistics enable our mission.

This role blends strategic design with hands-on execution, partnering with operations, regulatory, quality, and commercial teams to optimize costs, achieve on-time delivery, and drive scalable processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Business, or related field.
• 7+ years of global logistics or transportation experience, including international parcel/express shipping and customs brokerage.
• Deep expertise in trade compliance (HS classification, valuation, Incoterms) and vendor negotiation.
• Experience building or scaling logistics programs with hands-on problem solving and execution.
• Proven ability to create SOPs, train teams, and drive adoption across geographies.
• Strong analytical mindset with KPI ownership and data-driven decision making.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage global and regional courier partnerships; negotiate rates, define SLAs, and implement scorecards.
• Design and deploy scalable shipment SOPs aligned with global regulatory standards.
• Own end‑to‑end import/export processes; permits, HS classification, Incoterms, valuation, and broker oversight.
• Build and manage a network of in‑market distributors for testing supplies; define inventory strategies and service expectations.
• Define and optimize logistics flows for PAH, including labeling, duties and taxes, tracking, and customer communications.
• Implement end‑to‑end shipment visibility tools and exception management for rapid resolution.
• Cross‑functionally partner with operations, regulatory, quality, and commercial teams to align logistics strategy.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost optimization, on‑time delivery, cycle time reduction, and scalability.
• Develop and maintain KPI dashboards; communicate performance insights to leadership.
• Stay ahead of evolving global trade regulations to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
