Job summary

Gateway Recruiting seeks a data-driven analyst to support compliance and international trade efforts. You will analyze large datasets in Excel and Power BI, prepare reports, and contribute to due diligence reviews for sanctions and PEP assessments.

The role involves tariff classification work, attorney support, and maintaining thorough documentation while collaborating with a cross-functional team in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related analytical or science field.
• Customs Broker License a plus but not required.
• Two or more years of international trade compliance/due diligence experience preferred.
• Expert-level proficiency in Excel with advanced formulas, pivot tables, data visualization, and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Data analysis in Excel and Power BI; prepare reports and dashboards.
• Due diligence support: analyze screening reports for PEPs, sanctions, and country connections.
• Tariff classification: identify merchandise classification with technical detail.
• Attorney support: assist with compliance audits, government filings, and process documentation.
• Documentation and recordkeeping: manage investigations and filings.
• Timekeeping and billing support: track billable and non-billable hours.
