Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an experienced Compliance Strategy Manager in Arlington, VA to lead customs and trade compliance initiatives across AWS expansions and global operations. You will shape policies, mitigate risks, and drive cross-functional programs with Procurement, Legal, Tax and Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Security, Computer Science, Risk Management, Engineering, Math, Statistics, or related discipline, or equivalent technology experience
• 7+ years of experience with customs and trade compliance and understanding of valuation, duty mitigation, classification

Responsibilities

• Operate as focal leader for customs related input for AWS expansions, emerging programs and strategic initiatives
• Proactively identify compliance requirements, risks and manage mitigations by establishing policies, processes, and mechanisms
• Work cross-functionally to help achieve execution against regulatory requirements and internal policies
• Deep dive trade topics including customs valuation, duty mitigation, various supply chain models and complex trade barriers
• Drive compliance program integration with AWS business teams and supply chain
• Drive adoption of AI-driven compliance solutions to scale program effectiveness and enable rapid rollout of new capabilities
• Develop and oversee change management and process improvement including input to audit and oversight mechanisms
