Job summary

CSafe Global is seeking a Trade Compliance Specialist to join the Logistics team at our World Headquarters in Monroe, Ohio. The role owns customs and trade compliance for CSafe products moving internationally, ensuring shipments remain compliant and on schedule.

Responsibilities include HTS/classification reviews, records management, and collaboration with freight forwarders, brokers, and internal teams. A Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years as a Licensed Customs Broker are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration or related field.
• 3+ years’ experience as a Licensed Customs Broker (LCB).
• Strong understanding of international shipping and import/export compliance.
• Familiarity with HTS and classification methodology; experience with binding rulings to CBP or equivalent.
• Knowledge of 19 CFR and CBP resources (CROSS, ACE).
• Experience designing or delivering trade compliance training is a plus.
• Experience in ocean freight, shipping container management, or aviation-related manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day import and export compliance activities and documentation.
• Review and validate invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and customs templates.
• Support internal and external customs audits including CBP Focused Assessments.
• Perform HTS and Schedule B classification reviews and monitor regulatory changes.
• Maintain and audit the classification database; support audits with ACE reporting.
• Develop and enforce trade compliance policies including valuation, origin, and recordkeeping.
