Northern Tool + Equipment is hiring an International Trade Compliance Specialist in Minnesota. You will partner with Merchandising, Sourcing, Transportation, Finance, Inventory Planning and Distribution Operations to ensure smooth movement of imported goods while maintaining U.S.

and international trade compliance. The role involves analyzing trade data, identifying compliance risks, and contributing to the growth of the global trade program.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in import/export compliance, customs brokerage, international logistics, or global trade operations.

Responsabilités

• Ensure compliance with U.S. CBP regulations, FDA requirements, PGA, and other trade regulations.
• Partner with customs brokers for timely import entry processing and customs clearance.
• Classify products using HTSUS codes and support origin determinations.
• Conduct internal compliance reviews and audits.
• Maintain auditable import documentation and records.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on customs and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor KPIs related to customs activity, broker performance, duties and tariffs.
• Analyze ACE data to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Support development of trade compliance policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across functions.
• Contribute to technology and process improvement in international trade and logistics.
