Job summary

The Toro Company, headquartered in Bloomington, MN, is seeking a Trade Compliance Specialist to support U.S. import/export operations and trade compliance activities. You will coordinate with brokers, ensure accurate data, and contribute to the company’s compliance program.

Responsibilities include broker performance oversight, entry audits, data management, and cost allocation. The role requires 3+ years in import/export operations, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in Excel; SAP

Qualifications

• 3+ years of demonstrated experience in import/export operations or international trade compliance.
• Minimum of 3+ years in import/export operations in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong ability to multitask in a dynamic regulatory environment.
• Excellent data accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily import operations, respond to inquiries, resolve entry issues, and ensure timely customs clearance.
• Monitor and manage customs broker performance via scorecards and reviews.
• Audit U.S. customs entries to identify errors and coordinate corrective actions with brokers.
• Maintain import entry and trade data repositories for reporting and analysis.
• Audit, process, log, and allocate Toro account numbers to broker invoices; allocate duties, taxes, and fees.
• Administer and maintain trade compliance recordkeeping program; ensure documentation is complete and accessible.
• Create and update procedures supporting U.S. import/export operations and identify process improvements.
• Educate internal customers on U.S. import/export requirements and broker processes.
