Job summary

Solventum, a leader in healthcare innovation, seeks a Manager of Global Trade Compliance - Special Programs to lead global FTA compliance and contribute to cost optimization. This role requires strong ERP knowledge (SAP/GTS), policy development, and cross-functional collaboration.

You will help shape compliance programs, work with cross-border teams, and travel up to 15% to support global operations from Eagan, MN or San Antonio, TX with a hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher and 7+ years of experience in international trade compliance, logistics, or supply chain.
• Seven (7) years of experience with FTAs and duty savings programs in a multinational or consulting environment.
• Experience with U.S. and international trade regulations (TAA/BAA) and related compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) globally, including monitoring regulatory developments and ensuring compliance.
• Represent the team as SME in cross-functional meetings to support sourcing strategies and optimize landed costs.
• Identify and coordinate opportunities for import duty refunds and submission of applications to authorities.
• Prepare and submit responses to government inquiries related to FTA and special programs.
• Support design and execution of special customs programs (duty drawback, FTZs, bonded warehousing).
• Qualify products under TAA, BAA for government sales, including supplier engagement.
• Analyze import/export data and support ERP initiatives to identify compliance risks and cost optimization.
• Develop and maintain compliance frameworks, policies, procedures, training and KPIs.
