Job summary

Solventum is hiring a Manager, Global Trade Compliance - Special Programs to lead global FTA programs and complex customs initiatives. You will collaborate with sourcing teams and IT partners to ensure compliant, cost-efficient trade practices.

The role requires 7+ years in trade compliance, strong ERP knowledge (SAP, GTS), and experience leading cross-functional teams. Hybrid work with travel to Eagan, MN or San Antonio, TX is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher and 7+ years in international trade compliance, logistics, or supply chain.
• Master’s degree in International Business, Trade, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
• 7+ years with FTAs and duty savings programs in a multinational or consulting environment.
• 7+ years with special customs programs (duty drawback, FTZs, bonded warehousing, inward processing).
• Experience with U.S. and international trade regulations (TAA, BAA).
• Experience leading projects and cross-functional/global teams.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, GTS) and data analysis for compliance/cost optimization.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• 5 years supporting global trade compliance programs in various settings.

Responsibilities

• Manage FTAs globally, monitor regulatory developments, assess qualification and ensure documentation.
• Represent the team as SME in cross-functional meetings to support sourcing and optimize landed costs.
• Identify opportunities for import duty refunds and submit applications to authorities.
• Prepare and submit responses to government inquiries related to FTA and special programs.
• Support design and execution of special customs programs (duty drawback, FTZs, inward processing).
• Support U.S. and other government sales by qualifying products under relevant programs.
• Analyze import/export data and support IT/ERP initiatives to identify compliance risks and cost savings.
• Develop and maintain compliance frameworks, policies, procedures, and training.
