Job summary

SIG group is seeking a Regional Trade Compliance Manager to oversee international trade compliance programs and lead SAP GTS processes across the region. The role requires working with legal, finance, tax, supply chain, and logistics to embed compliance into business operations.

You will develop policies, provide training, and coordinate audits while staying current on sanctions, export controls, and customs laws. A strong background in SAP GTS and regulatory insight is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Law, International Relations, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Advanced degree or professional certification in trade compliance preferred.
• 5–7-year experience in trade compliance roles within multinational corporations, with focus on import/export regulations, sanctions, and export controls.

Responsibilities

• Stay updated on evolving trade regulations, including customs laws, sanctions, embargos, and export control across jurisdictions.
• Develop and implement trade compliance policies and procedures to ensure legal adherence; implement screening, classification, and licensing processes.
• Align with Head of Global Trade Compliance and local operational teams.
• Create, implement, monitor and revise regional/local trade compliance documentation.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate trade compliance risk; develop strategies to avoid penalties.
• Provide training to employees involved in international trade.
• Manage SAP GTS processes, including regional tariff and export classification.
• Collaborate with legal, finance, tax, supply chain, and logistics; act as SME between global/regional/national teams.
• Build relationships with government agencies, trade associations, and customs brokers.
