Job summary

Brightstar Lottery is seeking a Trade Compliance Manager to oversee global import/export compliance. The role combines analysis of classifications, broker filings, and documentation to mitigate risk and streamline cross-border movement of products and equipment.

Based in West Greenwich, Rhode Island, the position offers hybrid work and requires five years of international trade experience, HTS expertise, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, International Business, Logistics, Audit, or related field.
• Minimum of five years of global trade compliance experience.
• Expertise in HTS classification, customs valuation, and origin rules.
• Proficiency with Excel, PivotTables, XLOOKUP, and VLOOKUP.
• Strong policy development and internal controls experience.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• English reading/writing and verbal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Lead global import/export compliance activities across US, Canada, Mexico, Latin America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.
• Ensure cross-border movements comply with customs regulations, import restrictions, valuation, origin rules, and admissibility standards.
• Maintain trade compliance policies, SOPs, internal controls, and documentation across locations.
• Own HTS classifications and perform tariff reviews and validations.
• Oversee brokers and partners; set SLAs, monitor performance, audit filings, resolve escalations.
• Advise on duties, FTAs, special classifications, complex transactions, temporary imports, and repair/return shipments.
• Collaborate with Transportation, Warehouse, Engineering, Product Management, Finance, Procurement, and international teams to improve clearance processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
